Continues to be very good, continues to fall short of what I think of as 5-star territory.

Spoiler alert: the cover is a spoiler. Pretty frustrating and unnecessary, but oh well.

It really is a shame the TV series of Paper Girls was cancelled so quickly, because as I keep reading I keep thinking it's like a very good dramatic television show (not an era-defining show, but a solid good one). It's really good at moving the plot forward and keeping the reader engaged with the main ensemble of the four titular paper girls.

Filled with just as much kick-ass girl power as the first. I’m liking that this makes the adventure feel like it has more of a direction, as it takes on the Y2K scare, but I also feel like we didn’t get as much out of this one. I think the girls stayed kind of static and just ran into a bunch of random interesting people. However, I still found myself wanting to flip faster than possible and I can’t wait for the next set to come out.
