Ebbi l’ onore e il piacere di vedere questo spettacolo con Eros Pagni nel ruolo di Enrico IV e ancora quelle immagini sono vivide nella mia mente.  Una recitazione magistrale che si accompagna ad una scrittura elegante ma allo stesso tempo d effetto. 
Questo lo si può ben vedere anche solo leggendo questa piece, che non perde lo smalto dal rimanere solo scritta ma se ne può gustare la bellezza letteraria. Un opera che definisce bene le idee pirandelliane e che consiglio vivamente a chi si vuole avvicinare al suo teatro.
