The premise was fine if not pretty basic. Every aspect was fairly predictable and the first part seemed kind of redundant in entirety. I liked the actual killing aspects. The random changing from first person to third person in the middle of chapters (pages even) was insane and incredibly difficult to read. I had no idea who was speaking or what was going on. Hard to follow

A fairly straightforward slasher horror novella set at a clown motel 🤡 with two sapphic main characters 🌈

I liked the main characters and the slasher action but at times there was too much over description of small details in the physical space and small things that seemed like they could have been improved with some additional editing.

I also didn’t really get how our main character Reena determined who was possessing Nasha’s body as she listed several murders at the beginning of the book. I would have liked to see an aha moment on page that clarified how she figured this out but didn’t see that that happened.

YouTubers investigating a creepy clown motel and it goes sideways? Yes, please! I watch paranormal YT videos all the time so I knew this would be right up my alley. I've actually seen investigations done at the Clown Motel and it is very strange. Yes, this is a real place in Nevada, equipped with an adjacent graveyard, and you can stay there.
The book is short and quick so there isn't a lot of spoiler-free things I can say other than it is creepy, gory, a little unexpected, and has a great ending!
