Another beautifully written children's book by S. F. Said, I absolutely adored his Vajak Paw books when I was younger so was intrigued to read this book too. It's also illustrated by Dave McKean who is a wonderful illustrator and I love what he's done for this book.

A beautiful story for children I recommend you buy it for any younger relatives :)

Bullet review:
+A strong message about working together to overthrow injustices and spirituality
+Lovely main characters with well-written relationships
+The Tyger is the highlight of the book, she feels so mysterious and at times threatening, yet also comforting.
+This feels like a modern classic.

Set in an alternative 21st century London where the Brtish empire still reigns, Adam and Zadie befriend a Tyger in danger and make it their mission to help. But will they succeed?

SF Said introduces difficult topics such as slavery, racism and Empire so well for children and it's hard not to fall in love with the wise and beautiful Tyger. A mesmerising (and important) story with lovely illustrations.
