No sé que esperaba cuando empecé este libro, pero, ciertamente es mas light que las mil advertencias que contiene y no me mal interpreten, no venía buscando nada especial aquí, pero, es que supuestamente es un darkromance y en parte lo es, dos personas cuestionables se enamoran (pero es que eso es más atracción que amor, pero ajá, poco creíble para mi) y lo demás es muy cómico, la "mafia" es un chiste, la verdad, la representación de la sociopatía no me convence del todo y bueno, como dije, el romance tampoco y claro, las situaciones con la ley son demasiado falsas y exageradas.
¿En serio debo creer que van a dejar libre (los federales) a alguien que apareció en todas las noticias sólo porque un policía cualquiera lo ordena? ¿Hola? Hay algo llamado jurisdicción pero al parecer creen que el lector es demasiado tonto para obviarlo.
En fin. Me reí bastante leyendo esto y no lo odié porque siento que no es algo que se tome en serio a sí mismo, pero ajá, fue un chiste.

RTC but everything about this book just appealed to me, this book sounds like everything I have ever wanted in a book but sadly I just had a really hard time connecting with the story, which really is sad because I'm sure that this book could have been a favourite of mine, it surely had all of the traits to be.

I love and I mean LOVE the flesh and bones series... I don't know how Joel could write such a dark, amazing world and then write this and call it dark... Tbh I didn't like any book I tried from this author after the flesh and bones series, I think is time to call it quite on the author. Insta love and cry babies aren't my thing.

• H2 did hook up with one of his employees before but it didn’t end well (no mention of that person again and it seems like they don’t work for him anymore)
• both into causal sex with no strings attached
• H1 has never bottomed before so first time bottoming was with H2
• no OW/OM drama
• one girl H2 works with does have a crush on him but she doesn’t cause issues in the relationship and H2 pays her no mind. She also doesn’t act on the crush.
