Set in downtown Charleston, this enemy-to-lovers story is funny, sweet, and full of fascinating history bits. And flowers! I loved all the flower talk and I've decided I really need a greenhouse.

Walking the beautiful streets of Charleston with Cameron and Darcy was a welcome escape from the frozen landscape of Minnesota!

I can’t believe I waited so long to pick up a Jenny Proctor book. That sounds like an ad, but I guess I was judging her books by their covers (ha). I liked this a lot. Clean romance, but not sappy sweet like clean romances sometimes are. I don’t remember reading any swear words or drinking, either, but it wasn’t in a “I’m too good to drink/cuss” immature way that I’ve definitely seen in books before, it just wasn’t included and still made for a great novel. The writing style was great, with a depth to the main characters that I think is necessary for a good book, and enough depth to side characters to enjoy them. The romance between Darcy and Cameron was given time to develop, and while I personally didn’t like reading about Cameron’s struggles to let Darcy in, it was written really well and never felt like  contrived conflict. I’m definitely going to read more by this author.

I loved how cute and funny this book was! The chemistry between Cameron & Darcy was so sweet but sizzling as well. I also loved the character development of Cameron throughout. I mean who doesn't want a man who is great family guy, has a sarcastic/sweet personality & a passion in his career?! A cute rom com that will make your heart happy!

Okay, I loved absolutely everything about this book! I want there to be a real Darcy and Cameron somewhere in the world, falling in love and making each other’s lives brighter.

I’m a big fan of the enemies to lovers trope, so this was perfect for me. Also, I absolutely hate when there’s damaging miscommunication that could’ve easily been solved through a simple conversation, and I’m happy to report that this book did not have that!

I felt that Cameron had so much backstory and depth to him (and also, he’s dreamy), so I especially loved reading the chapters from his point of view. But I also loved Darcy! She was so spunky and fun, and I could relate to how she always wore her heart on her sleeve. I thought they were a match made in heaven.

Also, can we talk about the ghosts for a second?! I’m all about the paranormal and that was such a fun addition to this love story.

Big thank you to the author for my gifted copy! This one just came out, so if you love a sweet, closed door romance with tons of chemistry and the perfect city backdrop, make sure to add it to your TBR! (Or grab it now and read it in less than 24 hours like I did.)

There was not a single thing that I didn’t like about this book! It was so cute, funny, and such a sweet romance!

It did such an amazing job of transporting you to Charleston as you follow two rival tour guides competing for a feature in a travel magazine
