This felt like it never developed a personality- I wanted to like it but ended up really disappointed

Enjoyable, not long and drawn out and narrated by the author.

A fairly light murder mystery on the whole, with some dark and quite graphic scenes in places.

I had guessed both the twists/reveals in the story relatively early on but I quite liked the way it wrapped up, overall. Not everyone got a happy ending.

I had no idea Graham Norton was an author until I was shelving at work one day. Graham's writing straddles the fine line of mystery and cozy. He also narrates and does a wonderful job. Thankfully, he does not raise his voice when a female character is talking!

Nice book, an easy read. I just found the end so anticlimactic!

Might manage 2.5 stars. Very lightweight, easy to read but the plot was pedestrian. I like Graham Norton, but this wouldn’t have seen the light of day without his name on the cover.

I was bought this at Christmas and did not really think it was my thing. Started it three days ago and have been reading it every chance I got. Well written and captures small village life in Ireland wonderfully. The craic is there and it really is a page turner. It gently seduces you and pulls you along with the help of some brilliantly drawn characters. Well done Mr Norton! Will look forward to No.2.
