A cute-ish, almost love story (centered around a deep-rooted tragedy), and a quick, easy read. Definitely wasn’t the most impressive CoHo book in my honest opinion, but they can’t all be winners.

I found Clara’s character was surprisingly unlikeable. But maybe that was the point? I was hooked at the beginning, but that dwindled towards the end.

Loveeee omg so good. This book had me feeling all kinds of emotions

Vivid characters, vivid stories and intriguing writing. Very easy to get into and stick with it. Albeit I wasn't the biggest fan of mother-daughter relationship, ultimately it was worth it for the english part of it tho

Decided to reread this when I saw it was becoming a movie and I definitely still really enjoyed it but maybe not quite as much as the first time.

Each couple ends up with who I wanted them to and they will have great lives together I think! But one thing that bothered me was the “insta love” type thing that happens! Like we go from insane heartbreak and betrayal to moving on and loving someone else so fast. And yes I get there was feelings there before (and even during childhood etc) BUT it just felt like they moved on a little too quickly.

Overall though I really love this book and couldn’t imagine facing loss and betrayal like that!
