I had to read this for a book club after telling myself I’d never read her books. Im not a fan of her writing style, it seemed like more of a YA book when it wasn’t intended to be. Also the plot was boring and predictable I knew what was going to happen without even having to read the entire book.

When it comes to genres, Romance is usually last on my favorites list. Colleen Hoover never disappoints with her books! I always love finishing her books and recommend them to all of my friends. She makes books relatable and I’ve never had a boom of hers that was hard to get through. The characters are always ones you can easily fall in love with. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately this book just had every trope/theme that I dislike in books. So much miscommunication, secret keeping, just NOT talking to each other-it drove me crazy. This one probably should have been a DNF for me, but I kept thinking it would get better. I did at least enjoy the last 15-20%. I also just didn’t connect at all to our main character Morgan. A lot of people clearly loved this book, so I think this book just wasn’t for me, so my review shouldn’t stop you from trying this out if it sounds interesting to you. If miscommunication is something that you don’t care for though, maybe pass on this one.
