Regretting You

fast-paced

This was literally beyond boring and horribly written - the dialogue and overall relationships were stilted and forced. Had to DNF this for my sanity lol

I have mixed feelings on this one! I like drama’s, so the plot was fine for me but this was textbook miscommunication throughout the majority of the book (if miscommunication is even the right word since everyone refused to communicate with each other period). Clara annoyed me quite a bit, but I also understand she was 16 so her immaturity made sense but I also felt annoyed with Morgan a good chunk of the time, too. I almost wish we only got Morgan’s POV. The romance between Morgan and Jonah didn’t feel fully developed to really pack a punch (in the way I felt other Colleen Hoover’s books usually do). Overall, I didn’t not enjoy my time reading it and I thought it had good moments, it just left me wanting more of… something.

Light and airy, yet satiating

It's a heavy topic, but done with forethought and integrity. It had some surprises and some things you were confident were going to happen, but unsure when, which kept the pages turning.

More like 4.5 stars :D

What a wild story. Fave quote:

“Attraction isn’t something that only happens once, with one person. It’s part of what drives humans… So when you decide to commit to someone, you aren’t saying, ‘I promise I’ll never be attracted to anyone else.’ You’re saying, ‘I promise to commit to you, despite my potential future attraction to other people.’”
