I came pretty close to crying at the end, and that doesn't happen very often.

Makes for difficult reading at times and some parts feel a little blunt, but overall a good retelling of myth that brings a humanity to the stories (even if the POV character isn't human).

Érdekesnek talĂĄltam, hogyan kapcsolĂłdnak össze mĂ©gis a kĂŒlönbözƑ mesĂ©k Ă©s legendĂĄk.

A mellĂ©kszereplƑk mind Ă©rdekesek Ă©s Ă©lvezetesek voltak.

Would have been a 5/5, but I didn't care for the ending. The lead character ends up
with the half-brother of her son. I know it's normal for gods, but reading it in a modern context is "ick" to me.

A very pensive and emotionally impactful book that reflects on Circe’s psyche deeply.

really liked the book. it’s greek mythology so you have to pay attention and focus. so it’s not just like a YA romance where you can just read the words. madeleine miller has such great talent for creating modern retellings. also the quotes in this book were so GOOD. if you like greek mythology i highly recommend.
