3.5 ⭐️ I was in the mood to ignore my responsibilities and for a cheesy, holiday romance, this did not disappoint. So cute.

Super quick and fun holiday read! It was like watching a cute hallmark Christmas movie

3.5 stars. A cute little single dad and nanny story that takes place around Christmas.

The best “boss falls for the nanny” HEA story EVER!

I love every single book Devney writes. This cute holiday novella is no exception. Super rich single dad Maddox Holiday turns up in Bozeman, Montana to figure out relocating with his daughter, Violet, back home where his family is after going thru a nasty divorce in Los Angeles. In walks Natalie the new nanny. Only thing is….. Natalie went to high school with Maddox and his two twin brothers ( who are the stars of the other 2 novellas) and she’s always had a crush on Maddox. Maddox doesn’t recognize her until his brothers remind him and old yearbooks are brought out. Then, their adorable banter in getting reacquainted is great! The chemistry between Maddox and Natalie takes off from there, especially after she bonds with difficult, spoiled Violet. Natalie is determined to help Violet and she’s tough. Loved her character and how she won over Violet with so much kindness and understanding.

Loved this story from start to finish. Looking forward to the next book centering on Maddox’s brother, Heath.

Audiobook Review:

This was short and sweet, but I have to say this is the first time I’ve actually felt a book could’ve been longer. The story takes place within a week and the epilogue covers a year of events. Everything that happens in the epilogue is what you’re hoping will happen in the main story. It’s kind of weird. I would’ve loved to have read the buildup of how the epilogue events happened. That’s just me, though.

lighthearted fast-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No

Tis the season for a nanny romance... with absolutely zero Christmas vibes. There are nods to the holiday and a large Christmas party, but that's about it.

Maddox and Natalie were cute, though. I like the whole childhood friends to lovers aspect, and I think in a full-length novel that idea could've been developed more, but for the length of this novella, the plot was executed pretty well.

And, I especially loved Natalie's relationship with Violet. Again, it had the potential to be a much deeper stepmother/daughter relationship, but with the limited time we had with these characters, I think Perry did a great job.

-if you’re looking for a quick read, check this one out it is holiday themed as well
-enjoyed reading this book

Super cute holiday read. Quick & easy. Loved the characters. Good Holiday book while still keeping a good plot line. 3.5⭐️

Normally with novellas, it’s either an insta- love or an insta- jump-your-bones type romance, but this book was so well paced, I finished feeling satisfied and as if I got a full length novel! I definitely felt like the characters already knowing of each other in the past helped with this as it established a connection prior to the beginning of the novella.

Natalie’s first day on the job was priceless and unexpected! I, myself, am a caregiver for young children and I just have to say, Natalie is my hero

i remember nothing about this
