Cute, fast read. Natalie is a nanny whose mother left when she was about 5, I think - with a great father left to pick up the slack. So she really understands Maddox's 7 year old daughter Violet.
Maddox came from a well off family, but he made his billions on his own. When he and his flaky ex divorced, he took custody of Violet. Now he wants to move back home to Bozeman MT so he'll have more family around, but in the meantime, he needs a short-term nanny. Enter Natalie.
Maddox was 3 years ahead of Natalie in school, and she crushed on him pretty hard. The crush is back and double strength as they try to navigate the pitfalls of an absent parent who is undependable, and how to deal with the attraction between boss & employee.
This is a short-ish book - and I think I might have rated it a little higher if it had been a little longer, a little more substantial. I felt like I was reading along and boom, book over. But I did enjoy it, just felt it was deserving of another chapter or two.
