I wish I could give this more than 5 stars!!!

This book was a complete waste of money. I have tried to read it many times- which is telling enough since each page has less an average of less than 20 words on each one. There were only 2 pages that seemed relevant and I am 98% sure I seen almost the exact phrasing in a shared photo post on FB. The rest was stolen feminism ideas turned into cheap ramblings of someone who believes they know women enough to offer 3 word phases as life changing inspiration. I am thoroughly disappointed that I purchased both of these books, as I am sure the second one will be just as uninspiring as HER.
I would not recommend this book to anyone. I am a fan of poetry and empowering women when they are lacking. This book is not suitable for either topic. It is a cheap knock off of Milk and Honey that would be suited for the penny bin at a flea market, to which you still would have trouble giving it away. Total bust.
The drawings were the only interesting thing about the book.

Personally I enjoyed it. I will say at some points it was very repetitive but even then I still enjoyed it. I think it really just depends on your mindset when reading this collection of poetry. As someone that just got out of a toxic three year relationship this book brought be some sort of “comfort” and “peace”.
all i can say is i screenshotted so many poems from this book. i am so thankful i read her and her vol. 2 BEFORE reading "him", because i hated "him".
Beautifully written. I only recently started getting into poetry and I'm glad this is one of the books I decided to pick up and give a go. I'm excited to read the next book in this series and I hope it's as good as this one was.
