Look, I’m sure this book is great and was very important and impactful in its time, but I just found it really boring. If I didn’t have to read this for uni I would definitely not have finished it. It had its moments but overall I was just bored and couldn’t wait for it to be over.

It's astonishing to imagine that a bit over a century ago there was this exploring frenzy. This book was at times a meditating sort of endeavour.
