I was really excited that this was by the Mountain Goats guy (especially since his lyrics are so gorgeous). I think I might appreciate it more once I read some interpretations of it by other readers? I liked it, but feel like there were aspects I didn't understand.

Just, so good. Its reflective and funny and just, those are my thought patterns on paper, its gorgeous, im gonna think about it forever.
John Darnielle has a way of looking at, describing and categorizing the world that is wholly unique with the capacity for universal understanding. I loved this book.
