I love this book but seriously this series is one of my all time favorites! Written so well and makes you feel every emotion. A lot of books end up having a slow part but this book had no parts where I wanted the book to hurry and "get to the good part" the whole darn book was the good part. I want and need more from all the characters! And that bonus epilogue.... holy crap! Dying to know!

Ok so I really enjoyed this book far more than I thought I would… I love reading books about bikers but I was a little scared to start this book but I actually enjoyed it a lot. It’s been awhile since I read this series so it was nice reading about the others. I kind of missed them especially Em and Hunter. I adore those two :P Now let me tell you this book is most definitely not boring!

Now let me tell you this book is a lot grittier. This is a very much an MC romance and it’s not the sugar coated romance. There was a lot of blood and guns and even the romance itself felt harder, but a little edgy. Let me tell you that the heroine in this book does something real stupid and I was wondering how she is going to fix it. This is such a good read and strangely enough it was actually a fast read because I couldn’t put it down. I read it all in one day.

Now this book is about a women named London who works for the MC cleaning the place and such…. She owns her own cleaning company. One night she got a call from a young girl telling her that Jessica the 18 year old that she has been raising is at a party at the club house. She didn’t like it at all so she went there to get Jessica back. The only way she could do that is make a deal with Picnic because Jessica disrespected him. Now she has to clean his house and such. He wanted her from the moment he saw her but she would not go to him even though she craved him. She was just not strong enough to stay away from him and later on her life just got so much dangerous.

I can’t wait to read the next book… I always love seeing the others in the books. I loved reading more of Em and Hunter. It was sad what happened to her and London thankfully was there. London is just a perfect kind of old lady and she is one strong lady. Trust me on that. I love all these crazy badass bikers and cannot wait for Painter and Puck’s stories and I would lie to meet more of those sexy bikers. Though I did not like this book as much as the others. I wonder what will happen to Jessica especially at the end.

Best book of the series!!

5 Stars

When I first met Picnic in Reaper’s Property I knew this man was a force that you would never want to tangle with but more than wanted on your side. Reese “Picnic” Hayes, President of the Reaper’ MC. How do even begin to describe this man. I thought that Horse was an ass, Rugger, a man whore and Hunter really kind crazy. Picnic has nothing on the three of them combine. Intimidating and scary as hell. A loyal brother and a true leader. Picnic eats, sleeps and breaths the MC. It’s his life. Having raised two grown daughters who keep him guessing and losing his wife to early in life give Picnic another prospective added into his MC way of life. Under the layers of sexy, make you melt, badass biker is a good hearted man, who could kill you as fast as like you.

London is either one bad ass woman or straight up bat shit crazy. At times it hard to tell which. My favorite female lead character that I have read this year! Strong, self sacrificing, hard working and ever giving. Caring for her cousins daughter with major medical needs has kept her social life on hold for many years. London doesn’t know what hit her when the hot, blue eyed devil that is Picnic pushes his way into her life. Overwhelming lust and a way of life that London doesn’t understand. In a matter of a week life is changed, flipped upside down and twisted causing London to make some rather brave, rash and ballsy choices. Choices that have consequences that leave London hanging on the edge with the rock crumbling away no matter the decision. Knowing her actions will carry retribution, she does it knowing full well what the end result could be. A remarkable woman in so many ways.

Everything Reaper, yet different from the previous books in the series. Intimidating, aggressive and carnal. Ms.Wylde not only knows how to catch a reader attention, she knows hold to keeps us holding on. Intense is too light of a word for Reaper’s Stand. I laughed, I cried,I cussed.

Euphoric rage, loyalty and family set into motion a ride that is sure to be remembered. The Reapers have a motto of “Fuck with us and we will fuck you back, harder.” Reaper’s Stand gives the fans of this series a first hand look just that. Deeds done that will drop your jaw, entwined with blinding lust that exceeds any my of expectations for this book. Reaper’s Stand pushed the line further than any of the previous book. Intense and overwhelming, everything I love about the Reapers and more. Picnic and London are both mature, having lived life and have both suffered loss. The two are given the chance to fill the thing lacking in their lives if that make it far.

I could keep going on and on trying to find the words to express how much I liked this book. If MC romance is your thing or you like a raw aggressive edge to your steamy reading, Reapers Stand is the book! Be warned this is not a sweet, romancing, lets fall in love book. It’s a balls to the wall, take what you want kind of book that will make your skin tingle. A scary ride that I want to go on again.

Holy fuck that was some seriously intense shit. I've never read such a surprise and terrifying story and honestly I had no clue how Picnic and London would ever get passed it all to their HEA. but damn, I'm looking forward to more in the series even though these aren't definitely soft and fluffy bikers by any stretch of the imagination

ARC Reaper’s Stand

Biker romance’s are not my usual sub-genre of choice. Not unless the author is [a:Joanna Wylde|223343|Joanna Wylde|https://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1359652963p2/223343.jpg] and her Reaper Boy’s. I may never understand their freestyle way of life, but I sure get a thrill reading about them. There is just something about Ms. Wylde’s Reaper Boy’s that has attracted me and kept me coming back for more. This series delivers a very candid look into the MC world with it's crude language, explicit hot sex, and violence.

Reaper’s Stand is book four in Joanna Wylde Reapers MC series. This is a full throttle, hard core, and explosively raw read. With betrayal, heartache, hot sex, and action.

I have been looking forward to “Picnic” aka Reese Hayes book. This man-whore need a women in his life. I loved learning more about Picnic and seeing this guy fall hard for another women, when he felt he never would after his wifes death. I also loved the softer side we get of Picnic.

London is a strong independent women who had to make some very difficult hard choice for her life and the life of her cousin’s daughter. I liked London and how protective she was of Jessica even when I felt she should let go. The determination that London has to protect is fierce.

Reaper’s Stand is different from the others in the series in that it’s a second chance romance between two older characters. I liked that the couple where older, because it gave us more depth and life experience's. I also liked that this one had more action and grit. We also have more focus on family. Both London and Picnic value family and are very determined to protect. The relationship development for this story happens fast, but if you read the other books you will see how they have been attracted to each other for sometime. The sex is sizzling, gritty, and explosive.

As great as this book is I still had a few issues: I am not a fan of Jessica. Even with her disability, it does not excuse the shitty things said or done to London. I still have issue's with the lead women in this series. For some reason they all seam to do something that infuriates me with the exception of Em (Devil's Game). With London it was not talking to Picnic about Jessica being held hostage. Really we know he's the right man to help. I just wanted to yell at these women sometimes.

Despite my issues, I devoured this book. I’m in love with this series. I never once thought I would ever be reading a bicker romance that did not have a paranormal element in it. Reaper’s Stand is engaging, action packed, hot biker romance. I am dying to get the next book and see where things are going, especially after the author through in an extra bonus epilogue at the end that really left me wanting more.
