I started this series only a few months ago, and I fell in love with the story and the characters. I can be kind of a book snob at times, and maybe a little (or a lot) critical, but these characters and this story drew me I so far that when this book came out I had it from Audible as quick as possible. This final story was too intense to be listened to however and I ended up buying the ebook as well, unable to wait in suspense through everything that happened. I think the thing that bothered me, but that just proves Rysa Walker is a talented writer, was that not everything went back to the way it was. I honestly expected the story to end up with Kate being the only one that remembered what had happened with no Cyrus International etc. And I really liked Kiernan (I didn't fully trust Trey until the end), and kind of wanted her to end up with him... Hm. To be honest I think this story could have been told so many ways with so many endings and subplots that I never would have been totally satisfied with one. The time traveling got incredibly confusing in this book - I zoned out whenever it was "explained". But for the most part I just went along with it. One side question. Who was the neighbor in the van? That was never explained (or if it was I missed it). And who were Simon's parents? I think that was explained at some point but I don't remember that either. Anyway it doesn't really matter. I love this series, and I'm so glad I found it. The historical information was fascinating. I wonder how much of it was accurate/real. Oh, one last thing. Usually I hate teenage girl heroines because they have these super whiny moments that make me want to rip my hair out, but Kate's moments of teenage angst were never overdone or unreasonable. I liked that about her. She had to cope and make tough decisions and she was irritable and tired and sad all the time, sure, but she didn't seem spoiled or childish ever to me. Thank god for that...or should I say Cyrus? Hehe. Good stuff, Rysa. Can't wait to see what you come out with now.

I very much like the way this series wrapped up. All of the questions I was hoping would be answered were, but the author left some things open ended - for instance, after Kate talks to the president and what exactly happened to

I also felt like it didn't remain predictable - Saul's death was a pretty big twist that I didn't see coming. I had kind of figured or rather, I hoped, that Other Kate somehow survived because I didn't want Kiernan to end up sad and lonely. The other way I thought it may have gone is with Kiernan dying heroically.

I was also really glad that it ended well; I've had several series that I liked up until the ending recently and this did not disappoint.

An action packed and quite fitting ending to a satisfying time travel/SF series. By the time that we get to this book, Walker has set herself up with so many threads and challenges that it is a wonder that she manages to wind them all up by the end - it is action packed which to a certain extent gets in the way of truly satisfying conclusion but still I liked this book and this series a great deal

Definitely the best book in the series. Fun, clever, and Walker handles the craziness of time travel and multiple timelines with skill. I am definitely going to miss these characters and this world.

This book (and the two that precede it!) are fantastic and enjoyable reads if you're interested in time travel stories. I actually tried to start this series a year ago, but was a little turned off
Spoiler by the immediate - and strange - instance of romance
in the first book. My fiancé discovered the series in November and loved it so I decided to give it another go. I'm glad I did! Loved the series, the storyline, and all the intricate details involved. Sometimes I had to go back and reread a few pages just to get a handle on what was happening! haha. Great book, great series, very cool story.

For those following along with my #vtReadingChallenge: I read this book for the first "book for children/teens" category.

This book was so confusing. I feel like my brain is half melted right now.

Time's Divide is the third installment of The Chronos Files series. In this one, Kate has to travel into the future. There are a bunch of people on her team now - Kiernan, Trey, Connor, Kate's family, and some members of the 5th column. Crazy hard to keep track of everything but I think I got it all. They are tracking down all of the Chrono's keys to prevent the Cyrist culling.

So the two different Kate's was still weird to me but after reading the book I sort of got on board. Finally! Took me forever, but I realized that both of the love interests get their own Kate. In a weird but non creepy way - right?! In the end, both guys were basically meh to me but I'm glad they sort of got their happy ending?

Besides the romance and time travelling stuff, the twists and turns thrown at me were so good. Dizzying adventure that kind of made my head hurt a whole bunch but I think I got the overall idea of it all? Maybe.

Then there's the 5th column. I hated everyone from that group. So when they were magically disappearing I was definitely okay with that. Bye bye bitches! Seriously, they were all terrible people. Julia and Max were definitely the first two I hated from this bunch. However, I did sort of like Tilson but since he was a member for the whole shebang he falls under the hate column just for that reasoning alone.

Now for the end of the book, that epilogue or cliffhanger was just so god damn confusing. Again, I did mention that this book was confusing right?!? So many time zones to keep track of while reading and then I get that kind of ending?!?? I have no how I feel about that right now.

I can't believe this series it at the end. It was a complicated and at times confusing end but it was so good and tiring up all the ends.

Unexpected series but very enjoyable - plenty of twists and turns, with lots of different/interesting historical events to travel through. Didn't much care for Tate, found Kiernan a refreshingly complex character, and overall enjoyed the time travel system immensely.

Well... I enjoyed it mostly but I'm not sure I really liked the conclusion. Some of it made sense, sure, but other parts just didn't work for me. I just never really got on board with Kate and Trey. He (and their relationship) are just kind of bland. And there was one small thing that was brought up in this book that she didn't answer/conclude. Why note it in the first place? Overall, though, a pretty good series and impressive that she could keep all the time issues mostly making sense and in place.
