Overall, I would rank Twisted Games on top of Twisted Hate.

The plot towards the end after Jewels *problem* really had me shakin in my boots I wasn’t prepared for the emotional rollercoaster I decided to climb on. Not my favorite twisted couple but I’d still recommend if you like enimies to lovers x brothers bestfriend. Did I mention the spice was next level because it was.

This book has so far been my favourite from the twisted series although I still need to read Twisted Lies. I liked how the Josh and Jules had their own ambitions and SOME of their banter. Won't lie the whole hating each other thing and then having hate sex in the beginning was not it. I honestly didn't care for Josh's whole betrayal angst and daddy issues, but so far he's probably the most likeable male love interest so far, in that I didn't barf EVERYTIME he spoke. That is reserved for Alex, Fr like mans needs to chill the fuck out. I'm honestly kind of sick of the Twisted series male love interests not showing any emotion what so ever, or when they do its  "in their eyes" or whatever bs that means. I've the realised author tends to reuse a lot of phrases and certain wording, which normally would be fine but like pls stop the "growling" every time someone's upset. One complement for the series is the dual perspectives and flashbacks which helped better tell Jules and Josh's story. Jules was interesting and I was invested in her as a character. My favourite parts was their date in the library (not the one where he went down on her-that was not for me) but the sweet scavenger hunt and the dinner was cute. I HATED ALL THE SCENES WITH ALEX IN THEM LIKE EW.

This book is a nice enemies-to-lovers story with those who fancy hate sex, but all that aside, it was probably the tamest (in terms of plot) and most realistic relationship in the entire series. I liked that about this book.

What gagged me like genuinely to infinity and beyond, to the point where the thing I vividly remember about this book is this moment, is the quote that reads, “‘If you’d asked for the painting, I would’ve given it to you.’ My voice cracked. ‘I would’ve given you anything you wanted.’” LIKEEEE GODDD I felt that lump in my throat you get when you’re about to cry because I know he meant that shit
