Four point five stars for the perfect mixture between the romance and the story woven around Jules and Josh. Just the right amount of heartbreak and happiness together with a minimum of adventure. Even though Jules character wasn‘t exactly my favourite, her and Josh kept me rooting till the end. Their ongoing bickering fills the book with a lot of funny interactions.

It is a perfect enemies-to-lovers book. Though I have to subduct a star for the (traumatic) s*x scenes. For me they were a bit too much. But that won‘t keep me from trying another of Ana Huang‘s books. The plot and storytelling is just too good. :D

Wow! Definitely, rough sex. I don't know about hate. Interesting read. This is my least favorite in the series. There was something missing between Jules and Josh. I loved the crazy banter and there is a transformation between the feeling  of hate and love. I enjoyed the ending, but I  didn't fully connect with the characters.

This book was missing a few things to be considered a five in my opinion, starting with the lack of groveling from both ends (Jules stole from him his trust and his painting, and Josh had sex with Jules after he said he forgave her). The second Ana attempt at the touch her, you die trope with Josh felt weirder than having Alex or Rhys say it.

well, i liked it more than i thought i would, but it still wasn't my favorite. i read the first two books back in 2021 and then never picked this up because i didn't think i would like jules and josh together. i will say that i came around to them by the very end (and i loved their cameos in twisted lies), but it was until the very end.
i honestly just was so disgusted with the whole "i lied" bit, iykyk, and don't know how josh is anyone's favorite twisted MMC - like i genuinely HATED him for that. i don't know if i would go as far to say it was sexual assault, but it was damn close if it wasn't
overall, i had a good time, but damn this book was way too long in length.

⚠️: violence, death of parent, sexual harassment, sexual assault, stalking

This series has not disappointed, from book one to now book three. The romance mixed with spice and possessive, albeit reluctantly loving men, is a recipe for an addictive story. Josh and Jules relationship was one of the most enjoyable with their banter and denial of their feelings for one another.

Man, this book had quite the hill to climb in my eyes. Jules and Josh are two of the most annoying characters I've ever read, so I'm thankful they stopped bickering relatively early in the story. Speaking of early on, Jules insults the size of Josh's genitals several times. A little odd already, but given that Josh is an Asian man, the comment becomes... racist? Bigoted? Whatever the proper term, it made me uncomfortable. All in all, I read this because I'm a completionist.

"That was the thing about guilt. It didn't give a damn about facts or reason. It sprouted from the tiniest seeds of doubt, slipped through the cracks of your psyche, and by the time you realised what the ugly darkness oozing from your veins was, it'd already buried itself so deep, you couldn't dig it out without losing a part of yourself"

So, Twisted Hate, was the book I was most nervous for in this series but I really enjoyed it! The characters became people I really liked and I LOVED the cameos especially from Alex and Rhys my favourites!!

Jules was a character I didnt love before this book and now I would die for her. She is such a god damn girl boss who deserves the world, her backstory absolutely broke my heart, I wanted to give her a hug. I love how body and sex positive she is and how much she loves her friends. She's suffering so much throughout this book from Josh to her own conscience. I just hope she lives the long and happy life she deserves, she really shows that you can make a very unfortunate living situation into a good life and career and I absolutely love her so so much.

Josh is a character I liked but definitely my least favourite of the three. I understand how much he's suffering from all of the betrayal he's faced but what he did to Jules when she told him was absolutely gross and I would have never forgiven him so that left a sour taste but overall, he was a good boy and I am looking forward to seeing him again in Twisted Lies I'm assuming hes in it!!

I liked the cameos from Ava and Stella, I am so so excited to see Stella in her own book next!! BUT I LOVED SEEING BRIDGET MY GIRL MY NUMBER 1 AND ALSO ALEX AND RHYS MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE CHARACTERS FROM THE SERIES I LOVE THE THREE OF THEM SO GOD DAMN MUCH!!

also loved the Dante introduction I'll get to his series next.

Overall, I enjoyed this one. I love Ana's writing style I find it so easy to read and it flows super easily. I love her characters and even though the plots are kind of wild, I lap them up every single time. It's a really addictive series and I'm really enjoying it. I love enemies to lovers so much and there was only one bed never really gets old!!
