OH THEYRE MY BESTIES FR FR.

surprisingly good like i cannot express how much better this is than the first 2 books. josh and jules actually seemed to have chemistry and be into each other like it just all made sense???? writing was still a bit cringe at times but the plot was engaging with the 2 mc’s actually being complex and having a bit of substance. like honestly actually really quite good

Not a huge fan of the author’s writing style based on what I’ve seen from “If the sun never sets” but classic contemporary romance. Liked that acknowledged having busy schedules and working a lot to pay off debt. Some parts of plot too far-fetched for me personally:

Jules describes non-consensual advances from her step-father, which is why I have indicated adult/minor relationship and pedophilia. These are not romanticized in the book, but discussed as trauma. However, there’s also a scene between Jules and Josh that qualifies as SA. Read with caution.
