I found this book extremely interesting and I will definitely read it again (or actually read it for the first time, as this time around I listened to the audiobook). I had to finish it in about a week to be prepared for a book club discussion, so there are many parts that I’d like to mull over in leisure. I’ll also read his other books.

Paulo Coelho of the finance. This book should have 10 pages and it would still contain all the valuable parts. Rest of it was "look how smart I am" of the author. Plus - he humanizes nature, does not understand evolution and loves talking about himself far too much. I'm not disagreeing with his ideas, just those could be summed up in a brochure or even leaflet instead of 700 pages with dictionary, additional notes and an essay added after.

One big plus - he does not overuse the word hermeneutics.
Minus - he does overuse the word epistemology.

An interesting read if you can get past his bragging.

I tried to read it for the second time but just couldn't, gave up around the third chapter or so.
As I've read in another review, the premise is just "Shit happens, stop trying to make sense of it".
The author has a very offputting, self-centered writing style.

It is a fun read most of the times but oh gosh he is so annoying and full of himself...

there are much better books than this available covering the same topics.

extremely long winded self important waffle.

some interesting observations which could be condensed to a nice short essay/article without losing anything.

The author is, as most reviews mention, extremely smug and quite arrogant, but I can forgive that when a book is as interesting and informative as this one is.
