Ryder Carroll talks about how important it is to determine your "why" for whatever it is you want to do. While much of this book seems to be targeted at people getting started with their bullet journals, it does function as a good reminder of where this system got started so you can think about how you conduct yourself in your bullet journal and why. I also appreciated that he doesn't just stick with his own examples, but comes up with neutral examples and shows how other people use this system as well. It shows that it really can work for so many situations in life.

As I prepare for 2020, I wanted a refresher on Bullet Journaling (which I've done for many years), as I feel like I moved away from the format that is most useful for me. This was super helpful in reminding me of what I should be doing and why, but I was surprised at how much self-help there was in there. Not quite woo-woo, but not completely not woo-woo either. If you bullet journal, though, it's an interesting read about the whys of bullet journaling.

Very helpful to read about where the method came from! it reinforced my passion for my Bujo and got me over a mini slump I was having :). very well explained and I enjoyed the quotes at the beginning of chapters, reminded me of how people put inspirational quotes in their journals as well. worth a read definitely!

The basic concept seems really interesting and is explained well. I was surprised but intrigued to see so much content about mindfulness and intentionality.
