Eva Ashwood’s final CU novel picks up right where we left off. Leslie is after our foursome. The tension in the house is high, but the guys are committed to keeping Emma safe. They all know that she’s the real prize, but will they be able to convince her to give them a second chance? And what about Emma? She’s still entertaining thoughts... Thoughts about not choosing. Can she find a way to claim the life she wants with her three best friends? They’re going to have to find a way to get rid of Leslie once and for all if the happily ever after in the grander scheme is ever going to work.

Wow

What a series.

I absolutely loved every second of this series. The guys put her through hell. She put them in hell lol but in the end they all got their HEA.

Leslie is behind bars as well as her accomplice.

Claire and Paul are together and happy.

The guys and Emma are together and happy. What more can you ask for? I mean besides a look into the future of all these characters. I hope Eva writes novellas to show us the future of all hers books.

Amazing.

Here’s my favorite quotes

The two texts from my dad are short. No words wasted.
And every single word stops my heart.
DAD: Ems, there’s been an accident.
DAD: Claire didn’t make it.

“I’ve been doing some digging to try to figure out who told Trent’s dad about your parents. Who tipped him off to the affair. For so long, Trent was sure it was you, but…” He holds up his phone. “It wasn’t. I knew it.” ~West

“No, Ems.” He shakes his head emphatically. “No. She didn’t get what she wanted. I fell for her bullshit, yes. I was an idiot and an asshole, and I fucked you over in ways I’ll never forgive myself for. But if she was hoping she’d get a chance with me by betraying you, she was wrong.”“It’s always been you, Emma. Always. No one else. Even when I hated you, I couldn’t look away from you. I never stopped thinking of you. You consumed me. You still fucking do.” ~Trent

“But… it’s not enough.”
Trent closes his eyes, his shoulders slumping a little. West’s jaw clenches, and I see a pained expression pass over Reese’s face. ~Emma

“No.” I shake my head. “It wouldn’t have lasted. Things would’ve fallen apart eventually. Because I cared about you all. I wanted you. I still do. But I don’t know how to choose between you. And I refuse to destroy your friendship.” ~Emma

As we do, my gaze lands on Emma. She’s still got her hand on the doorknob, and her jaw is hanging open slightly.
She looks scared. Shocked. Pissed.
And heartbroken. ~West

“Ride him,” Trent rasps out. “Let me see what you look like when you’re fucking him.”

“You’re not my fucking sister, Ems. You’re not my enemy. You’re not my vendetta. You’re the love of my goddamn life, and I’m gonna show you exactly what that means.” ~Trent

I turn toward the door, but stop with my hand on the knob and look back over my shoulder.
“I used to think you were one of those people to me. Now I know better. But I should thank you for helping me find the people who really are.”
~Emma to Leslie

Book 2 was a little hard to get through. Book 3 picked up, finally.

So happy with this series!!! I think the Emma and the Icons were actually together for the whole book and they were dealing with outside problems instead of problems between each other like the first two.

5 stars for Who Falls Hardest by Eva Ashwood. This is the 3rd book and final book in the Clearwater University series. Book 3 picks up right where book 2 left us. The conclusion to this series was epic. Leslie is now after Emma and the guys. She wants them to suffer in any way possible, the question is, is she the only one after them . I loved all the twist and turns in this book. I never really know who to expect behind everything. I do love how Emma and the guys finally came together. Just when you think you have an idea of who is doing everything, bam you really have no idea. I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone, but I will say this book has an ending you won’t soon forget. This is a must read.

What a way to end an incredible series. There was so much character growth for our favorite foursome. I still can’t get over how much stress and trouble Leslie has caused everyone
