4.75 stars — great follow up to mark of athena!! all of the tartarus bits w percy and annabeth were suspenseful and compelling and i loved the addition of bob and small bob. getting to see the characters continue to grow into their own skin was so enjoyable to read. especially loved the leo and calypso storyline, and nico and jason! although it took me the longest to read out of any of the pjo books, i am really looking forward to the final installment in the hoo series

Oh my gods of Olympus!! I Loved Loved LOVED this book!!!! By far the most exciting yet!!! And that's saying something. I do so adore the Greek Mythology!!! And the Romans are really growing on me.
Speaking of GROWING!! All these demigods: Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Leo, Frank, and Hazel have all grown so much!!! They are seriously coming into their own and becoming the great heros they were destined to be.
I can't freaking WAIT for the final installment of their journey!!!
