I think this book is the “love it or hate it” kind, and I honestly didn’t love it…. Felt like a very long read most of the time (it did take me two months to read it, as I never really wanted to pick it up…). I did really enjoy the two gambling stories though! I think it could do with more of the stories being connected.

Seethaler schreibt in einer sehr schönen Sprache. Die Schicksale der verschiedenen Menschen in diesem Buch sind allerdings eher ernüchternd und können deprimierend wirken.
