Could've been a silly feel-good romance, but the middle drags on only for the end to feel rushed. I just got tired of new conflicts introduced one after another at a certain point, and I almost didn't want the leads to end up together after it all.

J'ai commencé à m'accrocher plus à l'histoire à la moitié environ!

**Warning: this text may contain spoilers** What an amazing book. Started reading it yesterday night and have just finished It. What a way Josie has to make you feel, live Jack and Laurie's LOVE. One of my favorite books. There is nothing like a book you cannot stop reading. Tomorrow I need to get a flight, need to get up for 2:15. Instead of sleeping, I couldn't help but reading this amazing book.

4.25 stars. This one really surprised me. I really expected it to be another meh Christmas romance, but it was so much more than that. I listened to the audiobook and the voice actors were soo good. The way Josie Silver writes really makes it feel like a movie- especially like the British rom coms that I love. Idk, this just did something for me that I can’t explain and I loved it!

Had to dnf at 15% because I find everything (characters, prose, story arc) simply hilarious, unbelievably juvenile, ridiculously shallow, and farfetched. This is exactly why I'm skeptical of reading romance, even though it got good reviews on GR.

Seriously, why on earth does it have high rating?!

A 10-year journey in 392 pages. I was intrigued throughout the majority of the book, but it became slightly boring waiting for the resolution in the last couple chapters.

Once I got about 100 pages into this book, I started to love it. The story took a while for me to get going, definitely a slow start but once it started to pickup I found myself excited for the next chapter and to see what would happen next. I’d say the ending felt a little rushed but I also needed to remind myself that it was 9 years in the making, so not really. Overall loved this and loved the ending. Can’t wait to read another one!

It was a cute love story, but very slow and drawn out. Cute December read even though it’s more New Year’s than Christmas!

In one sentence, this is not the best I've read, but it's not the worst either.
