I loved the portrayal of motherhood in this book. So many thoughts moments resonated with me; the overwhelming-mess of love for complex people, the struggles and difficulties and guilt of parenting, the little moments. Loved that the mystery was always undercut with this perspective of motherhood.

This is my second read of this brilliant novel. I listened to the audio the first time around. It was just as masterful, thrilling, and emotional this time around. Is this my new favorite book? Maybe. Just read it.

A reverse-time travel story of a mother trying to determine why she's going back in time and what she needs to learn in the past to make it stop as well as how to stop her son from killing someone in the present. Definitely an interesting plot and intriguing enough to have me finish the book. Not my favorite writing style (repeat, repeat, repeat is not my cup of tea). But overall a decent thriller.
