A time-travel, wish fulfillment book that didn’t suck?! Unprecedented. I feel like I can’t write anything else without spoiling it so just trust me.

Jen isn’t so much trapped in a time loop as trapped in travelling backwards through her life to different points, uncovering how to stop her son becoming a murderer.

It was twisty and pacey, some elements I’d guessed before they happened but a few things completely surprised me! Really well written, I basically sat and read it in one sitting.

Excellent mystery that kept me guessing with the solid character building and relationships of a literary fiction. There were some big twists I didn’t see coming which is impressive.

I tend to get annoyed quickly with time travel plots but this one wasn't half bad. It was refreshing to see the mystery unraveled in reverse chronology as the main character traveled backwards in time day by day. I didn't feel connected to the characters though and the writing was just ok.
