I'm surprised I enjoyed this story as much as I did. At first I was struggling to get in to the narrative, but then finally connected with the heroine and felt for the hero's redemptive storyline. (Redemptive love, that is!) I really love stories that have a character overcome their adversity to loving again and this was a great example of one.
