Going straight to my favourite pile, loved this book sm

I Really Do was a easy, breeze, beautiful read! Brooke and Anna are very loveable characters straight out the gate! The way they take responsibility for overcome their trauma and how the deal with it, is something to admire.

I love the way Emily Hardy built up the character’s sexual tension, managing to teeter on the line of suspenseful and aching, without becoming frustrating or tedious.

Picked this one up randomly and went into it with no expectations, and I was blown away with how much I enjoyed it! I loved the dynamic between the MCs, and found myself super invested in their story! Pacing was good, and the tension build up was top tier, the wait for them finally getting together was well worth it

Some things about it that bothered me:
- Repetitive, both in verbiage and internal monologues.
- Due to it being independently published, there are spelling and grammatical errors; though not enough to really take away from the book. Plus, I enjoy red penning my way through books like this. Don’t judge me.

Some things about it that I loved:
- Usually I hate faking dating tropes, but this was a delicious slow burn that is completely worth it.
- There’s a miscommunication towards the end that I personally found unnecessary, but I was so invested in the characters that I literally yelled “what the FUCK” and it was resolved quickly.
- Solid plot where you actually like the characters, even the side ones.
- That 🌶️ scene (chapter, really) fucking ate and kept me fed 👀
