I really dig the overall vibe and the magical elements. I also find interesting the epilogue and the way it relates with the theme of slavery and freedom. Just like Caliban and Ariel were Prospero's slaves looking for freedom, he tells the audience in the epilogue to free him, as if he were their slave, too.

Besides, i like reflecting on the intricate meaning of the play. Not only seeing it as a pastoral play, but as a text with a heavy colonial context.

Not entirely sure how to feel about this one: I can't give it a higher rating than Macbeth, although the plot is much more to my taste in terms of violence. Prospero is simply confusing: Shakespeare writes his moral ambiguity perfectly; Miranda is every inch the sheltered daughter. Shakespeare does advocate controversial views on colonialism in this play (definitely a product of his time), as Caliban is forced into slavery, but he is also an attempted racist and a savage... I definitely have mixed feelings overall.
