Since I went into the series knowing how it would end, I expected to be SUPER disappointed with this book but I have to say it exceeded my expectations. I definitely think the last trilogy had a lot of weak points - especially after books 7-9 - but it was an interesting way to wrap things up, at least.

What. A. Finish. Darren Shan concludes his saga in perfect form, with a tale twistier and turnier than ever before. Long lost plot threads are weaved seamlessly to their conclusion, stakes are ever raised, and we are kept guessing to its final moments.
