Loved the ideas presented in this book! What a great first book for the CSL book club! Definitely touches on all the big themes of the Center: mindfulness, belovedness, love, compassion, money, community. It was a bit slow at times, and the writing a bit simple, which is why this is 3 stars.

After this election, this book helped to calm me and give me some peace. Walking meditation, it works and it's a good thing. He brought me back to mindfulness. Thank you.

This is an excellent book on ethical leadership and balance based on Buddhist philosophy. I think it’s an excellent counterpoint to books like The Art of War that focus on scarcity mentality.

As usual, Thich Nhat Hanh provides calm, approachable wisdom and advice. Worth reading, and re-reading, whenever you need a spiritual pick me up.

everything by Thich Nhat Hanh is amazing. This book covers the concept of power from a Buddhist perspective and what exactly power really means and how it manifests in each person's life.

The target audience of this book are business owners and other people who might self-describe as powerful (politicians, e.g.). It has examples of bringing mindfulness and then insight into the working world, but the best example is in its appendices when the founder and owner of Patagonia talks about his journey as a reluctant or at least skeptical entrepreneur.
