This story wrapped so beautifully. I’m excited to watch the anime! Also, the short story at the end was very funny - a nice change of pace.

This is such a good story about friendship and love and helping each other. Stories like this just get to me. Something about how the older group is still sending the letters and trying help, even though it won't change their timeline, because it's enough to know he's okay somewhere.
I liked the open-ish ending, how it's not made clear that he is safe because he is still struggeling. But at the same time he knows his friends are there and the will do their best to help him.
I also like how this story talks about regret and how it iis part of life. That even if we'd know the future, we'd still have regrets and make mistakes.

Hated the end. The author did Suwa so dirty. You can tell the only character that the author cares about are Kakeru and Naho. The only other character that gets even semi-fleshed out is Suwa, but we never actually find out what his future holds which was so unfair because he was so giving and selfless all he wanted was for the woman he loved to be happy and his friend to live. Was he rewarded in the end we don't know was it all for not we don't know. The ending really needed an epilogue of 10 years in the future so we could see how it really changed. It's unfair to leave us hanging and to leave the characters hanging.

Also two other reasons why I scored this book so low in stars is because firstly, how toxic Kakeru and Naho really where is a couple these two never should have gotten together and never should stay together. He's even honest with her he lies he runs away he's not the right person for her and he's correct but she doesn't listen she just wants what she wants and listens to her future self because she doesn't respect what he is saying. He also isn't in a place for romantic relationship he's not ready to handle it he is going through some deeply disturbing and dark stuff and he needs mental health care not a romantic partner. Get this guy some therapy.

On that note, the second reason is the treatment of suicide was borderlining on insensitive due to the oversimplification of it. Sometimes no matter what anybody does they cannot stop somebody from committing that act. It is also not someone else's responsibility to save another. Placing that burden on yourself is unfair and will affect your own mental health. This manga took an extremely complicated and serious subject and tried to put it into a romance story without consideration for how it might affect those who are actually touched by suicide. For that reason alone I can't recommend this to others.

ah this manga was so emotional but so heartwarming !! it ended a bit abruptly for me I do wish there was some sort of epilogue, but the ending was just so heart wrenching in many ways. im happy with the story overall and can’t wait to watch the anime to see how it was adapted !

BRO. It all went so fast, so quickly.

I can't describe, in words, how good this volume was. The closest I can think of is  just * chest pains because of love *, you know? It is to put it mildly, and emotional rollercoaster.

These characters are everything to me. All of them have made themselves a special nook in my heart now, next to all of my all time favorites.

I think the best way I can describe it is like when you're smiling while crying.

omg i just love orange

i’m not sure how i feel about them explaining how they got the letters to their past selves. i just thought the explanation or method they said was kinda stupid. but other than that it was a really nice read that made me sad.

god i love relating to characters in books, but god it really hurts to sympathize or empathize with a character. i like the whole thought about how you can change the future, and nothing is set in stone to go a certain way. it made me feel hopeful about things.

I kind of liked the first one better and the ending in this one felt kind of rushed but this was still so beautiful. This series and these characters have my whole heart. Protect them at all costs.
