4.5 glorious stars. Mostly for Iggy’s gorgeous Spanish words of love, for saving Arden’s life, and for Arden getting his childhood crush in the long run. I HATED Arden’s parents with a passion, and his brother Phoenix was a judgemental dick, but the family redeemed themselves at the end. Sigh….

Overall this was a good story. I LOVED the connection between Iggy and Arden, i loved how their relationship blossomed.

I did NOT like FOUR HOURS of focus on Arden’s eating disorder. Once we got to the point of Arden and Iggy figuring out what the disorder really was and working towards treatment everything focused on their relationship so much more. The disorder became a side piece to the story instead of the main focus and the story became much more palatable to me.

The narrator, Adam Gold, is new to me and is VERY talented. The way he was able to switch his voice for Iggy and some of the other side characters was very impressive and I will keep an eye out for more books by him.

4.5 stars for the story
5 stars for Adam Gold's narration.

Loved this.
Even though it took me a bit to warm up to Arden, Iggy just shone through the pages.
He was such a great character, so supportive and understanding. He was such a pillar of strength for Arden.

Arden's phobia was so sad... not like the usual eating disorders. He was afraid to eat... not because of weight concerns, but because he was afraid food would kill him.

Loved everything about this book. Loved how Phoenix stepped up after being an epic douchebag.

I was glad how Nicky also redeemed Arden's parents, to a degree.

[3.5] now the story has its flaws, but considering how much the previous book in the series (#4) flopped for me and my curiosity to explore the fear of food triggered by a traumatic event, i'm rounding up!
