📚What to expect📚
-Romantasy
-Enemies to lovers
-Slow burn
-Unique magic
-Found family
-Great banter
-Touch her and die
-Adventure

❤️‍🔥If you loved other popular romantasy books you will love this, yes there are some very similar things but I still enjoyed it enough to recommend giving it a try. The found family in this! The way I got connected to all the characters so fast…. (I’m crying) It was predictable but still written so nicely. I love the powers being different elements. And the way I love both men!!! Haha. The banter was top tier. I can’t wait for book two! The only reason it’s not a 5 star is bc of the similarities to other books.

⚡️Quotes⚡️
“Either stab me with that dagger or put it on the nightstand,” he mutters, “At this point, I really don’t care which.”

“Careful with the princeling. His temper burns hot. I’d hate to see your wings scorched before you even get a chance to fly.”

“His heart does not beat,” I mutter under my breath. “It bleeds like an open wound.”

1st sentence:
“The noose chafes, a necklace of death.”

Overall it is a pretty good book. It felt a little like I had read this book before because some moments were very similar to other books in this genre. But I enjoyed the characters and magic and am looking forward to the second.

I listened to the audio while following along in my physical copy ...

I devoured this! One of the very few things I love, is elements. And this author was able to incorporate this as the whole plot, and did it so beautifully!

Not only was the author able to accomplish the before mentioned, but also bring the characters to bring the energy that they brought [pun intended]! I just loved Penn and Rhya ... but I also loved Soren being in the mix.

I am so excited to read more about these characters in book 2 ... waiting [im]patiently!

For me, The Wind Weaver started really well, then fell into a bit of a slump and then ended really well. I just think the pacing fell off a bit in the middle.
I feel like quite a lot happened to Rhya in the beginning and then again at the end.
I love the found family that Rhya now has, especially as she didn't grow up with one.
We have indecisive enemies to lovers, and I think we're edging towards either a love triangle or a why choose situation in book 2.
I am definitely interested in finding out more about the prophecy and whether the Earth aspect will be found. How will the dynamics change when they are found?
I'm very much intrigued by the overall story and will definitely want to continue with the next instalment.
