After being on my tbr for years, I have finally read this book. And I loved it! I thought it was great! I guess I’ve brought my rating down a little because I was waiting for it to be the exceptional piece of literature people claim it to be, but I found myself wanting more out of it. Regardless, I will definitely be reading more Austen in the future.

This is one of my favourite books. It took me 6 years to read as I never found the time and always felt like I had to restart it after leaving it for too long. After many attempts I did find it easier to understand the languages used 😂

Jane Austen is one of my absolute favorite classic authors. However, I will say that if you do not like wordiness or run-on sentences, you're not going to like it.
