I definitely should not have ignored the trigger warnings bc it is GRAPHIC but content warnings aside, it was an excellently crafted fucked up and horrifying book. Fr tho read the trigger warnings.

Holy moley. Check the TW before reading this book!! There were so many twists and turns and at some points I had to pause or cover my mouth as my jaw dropped (I listed to this via Audiobook). Fantastic narration by Kathleen Early. Highly recommend if you can stomach a thriller!

Is it weird to mourn the ending of a thriller because it is that enjoyable? Really disturbing and meh ending but then again endings aren’t my favorite in general.

This was pointless. I fell asleep reading multiple times there are so many gaps in the story. What happened with the text. It’s the ultra modern and in time references that didn’t hit. In the end everyone just moved on and Billie got to live with Alex.
