Unlike other writers, Jules Verne makes the characters feel like old friends telling you their life story. This makes you care for the people in this book, unlike other ones I've read.

La idea era buena (la películaa con Josh hutcherson también), pero el pobre Verne la hizo bastante mal. Evidentemente se pasó un buen tiempo estudiando las piedras, porque 3/4 de las palabras del libro son sobre piedras, tierra o eras geológicas. De verdad, Julio querido, no me importa. No me importa lo que llevaban en la mochila. No me importa la presión o la densidad del aire. No me importa no leer sobre cada paso que dan de la superficie al centro de la Tierra. Sólo quiero llegar a lo interesante: EL CENTRO DE LA TIERRA. QUÉ CASUALIDAD QUE ASÍ SE LLAME EL LIBRO.
Llegamos al centro de la tierra aproximadamente en la página 70 de 91. AL FIN! ME PREGUNTO CON QUÉ COSAS NOS ENCONTRAREMOS! Rocas y fósiles. Esa es la respuesta. Me interesaba que viesen más las plantas y los animales de ahí abajo porque pongámonos en situación: HABÍA ANIMALES DE LA ÉPOCA DE LOS DINOSAURIOS. Y HABÍA UN CAVERNÍCOLA. Pero no, por qué gastarnos en ver eso. Por qué ver las cosas interesantes, cuando podemos... VIAJAR EN EL MAR DURANTE LAS 20 PÁGINAS QUE NOS FALTAN!!!!! QUÉ DIVERTIDO!!!!! Hay monstruos marinos y hay un pez extraño, sí, pero sólo durante dos páginas.
No sé. La idea estuvo buena, y las dos estrellas van por eso, porque no es del todo malo por lo que podría haber llegado a ser. Pero fue malísimo. Perdoname Verne, quizás no estamos destinados a estar juntos.

Obviously he spent a lot of time studying rocks, because 3/4 of the words in the book are about rocks, dirt or geological eras (is that how you say it in english??? correct me please). Really, dear Jules, I don't care about rocks. I don't care about what they carried on their bags. I don’t care about the pressure or density of the air. I don’t care not reading about every single step they take between the surface and the centre of Earth. I just wanna read about the interesting part: THE CENTRE OF EARTH. WHAT A COINCIDENCE THAT THAT’S THE NAME OF THE BOOK.
Ok, we’re into the Earth, on page 70 of 91. FINALLY! I WONDER WHAT WILL WE ENCOUNTER! Rocks and fossils. That’s it. I wanted them to see more plants and animals down there, because let’s be clear: THERE WAS DINOSAURS-ERA ANIMALS. AND THERE WAS A CAVEMAN. But no, why should we see that. Why should we see interesting things, when we can… GO INTO DE SEA FOR THE 20 PAGES THAT ARE LEFT!!!! WOW SO FUNNY!!!! There are marine monsters and a weird fish, yes, but only during like two pages.
