A good dystopian fiction. It suits both a younger generation and older ones who are into this type of story.
Bear in mind that the movies differ a lot from the book. In a good way I’d say. I get why you would go another direction when making a movie.

Hard to rate this book but this was a reread because I watched the movie then had to remind myself that the book wasn’t actually that bad and they just completely botched the movie adaptation 💀

i distinctively remember not enjoying this as much as i wanted to when i first read but it’s definitely not as horrid as i remember, like, it’s just absolutely average.
the actual problem lays in the fact that not only does this not have a plot for the first 300 pages, but the writing is pretty dull and kind of makes me cringe too.
