Fantastically filthy, funny, and full of second chances.

Nigel and Tanner of course add the comic relief that was perfectly intermixed in the heavy hitting second chance romance between Matt and Brooklyn. Yes, everyone is back and stirring up trouble and romance between these two, but after sixteen years they might need a little help.

Emotions are high and both Brooklyn and Matt feel broken with so much time lost. Even if they love one another can they repair what they had?

Even if Mattlyn wasn't perfect all the time, do you know who is...adorable little Jacob and his sweet "noooo's" or especially when he's fighting with Nigel on who the cutest boy is. Basically every precious moment he's on the page, he's just too cute, and I loved it!

This entire book, although it did have some very tough emotional moments, was also highly nostalgic. All of the Untouchables were special in Brooklyn's life so each of them missed her when she was gone. Having her back is not only important to Matt, but to each of the guys and now to their special ladies as they get to know her too.

This book felt very healing for so many characters, plus it was also filthy and really funny. While it took quite a road trip to get to this point, I really enjoyed this book. It's one of my favorites.

This book was everything I dreamt it would be and more. We get ALL of the conversations and interactions we want and these characters deserve. It is happy, spicy, heart-wrenching, and absolutely perfect. There were so many moments I sat reading with a huge smile on my face. Oh, and that ending

I honestly thought this was the final book in Empire High, so as I saw that I was getting closer and closer to finishing and I still had so many questions…. and then it left off on another cliffhanger, I said so many curses, but was thankful that we get another.

So this is book 7 in the Empire High series. Unfortunately, it’s not one of those standalone series where you don’t need to read them all - they’re all very connected and follow the same characters the entire time.

This one starts off right after Matt and Brooklyn reconnect after she comes back from “the dead” after leaving her lake house. We get to see her grieve her husband’s death, while still raising her son, and reconnecting with all of her friends from 16 years prior. It definitely gets emotional to watch her with her best friend, Kennedy, but also seeing her with Matt’s friends and family because they also meant so much to her.

Tanner and Nigel still drove me insane, I know there’s more to their story and I think they’re getting their own little series, but they’re a little too… extreme for me.

Empire High Exposed. This is the seventh book in the series and while most books that have series this long tend to get repetitive, I can't say the same for Ivy Smoaks Empire High series. I screamed at the end of this book because, "WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?"
I need to know. You need to know.
Matt finally finds the love of his life after believing she was dead for sixteen years. He's finally happy. Brooklyn has the family she once dreamed of even if the trials and tribulations that got her to where she is now has taken a toll on her. She doesn't know how to get over all her losses and grief, but can she move on?
Ivy Smoaks characters are something else. I had laugh out loud moments, cry moments, cringe moments. I cannot wait to see what happens next and will they really be happy ever after? Who's the new character Smoak brought into the mix? I need to know now.

Will totally recommend this book to EVERYONE.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC to enjoy.

This book had so many happy moments and I loved every minute of it. It hurts that Brooklyn is just trying to figure out what she wants even if it’s right in front of her. I love her and Jacob’s relationship and it’s so funny that he hates to wear clothes. I love that Tanner is interfering with Brooklyn and Matt and helping them. Matt is finally getting the answers he needed and he will finally get the closure he needs to be happy, same with Brooklyn. Brooklyn and Matt deserve to be together and to finally get the happily ever after they deserve. Also, it’s never a dull moment with Tanner and Nigel, they really know how to brighten the mood. Of course, we have the Tanner and Rob feud and for a short time, a Nigel and Jacob feud. Of course I’m mad that this ended in a cliffhanger as I want everyone to be happy and safe but, I’m also sad because we’re so close to the end.
