I almost could have rated this four stars...almost. It was right on the line, but I bumped it down to three stars because it was kind of boring. I really only read it because I love the characters, and of course want to read a bit more about them. Actually, the whole thing read more like a really long epilogue. So, that's that. My favorite book in the series was undoubtedly Little Women!

It's quite interesting, but it isn't as good as Little Women. It's got a lot of irrelevant description and I prefer the other sequels.

I liked it, mostly because of growing up with Little Women than because it was great writing.
