quick n fun re-read, love the slow burn build up with Michael?? again some “yikes” moments: tr*mp makes an appearance, “being asian is fashionable now”, has no one heard of abortions, etc.

This was the one I always dreaded reading over whenever I reread the series as a kid. While I still love Princess Mia, this one in the series always irked me for some reason. I still enjoyed it for the most part. I think I just read this one too much.

Had fun listening to this one! I read all these books once upon a time, so it was fun trying to see what I remembered. And no wonder there’s so many books… each one only covers like a week in Mia’s life. I think I liked this even more than the first book because I wasn’t trying to compare it to the movie because nothing in this book was portrayed in the movie. My goal is to listen to this whole series! I really enjoy that Anne Hathaway narrates them.
I gave the first book in this series much higher ratings because I appreciated some of the points. This book however had all of the language, inappropriateness, and general junk that the first book did--without the lessons. I do not plan on reading any more in the series and would not recommend them.
