I really enjoyed this one, and I think I liked it more than normal because I listened on audio and I had a long stretch of time to listen in the car and do nothing but drive and take it all in. That being said, I was a huge fan of We are the Brennans, and had I NOT read that one first, I might have enjoyed this one more. This is a large ensemble character building fictional work, which honestly is not normally what I gravitate towards, but there was something about a good family story that makes it feel inviting and kind of like a big hug. I had a tough time remembering how some of the characters were related because there were a ton of them, but overall I did enjoy this one and how everything played out.
