Those who know me know that at some point I wanted to be a movie director. That dream is on hold but when I write I still visualize things like movie scenes, including a soundtrack. So, it should be no surprise that I made a playlist for the novel. Some of the songs are mentioned in the book. Some are songs I wrote a specific scene to. A fun time! Godly courts are run on corporate politics and going freelance doesn’t save you from their machinations. I wish the side female characters got the same amount of diversity and interest as the male side characters but Nneoma was cool and the romance was sweet.

Striking imagery and symbols, some great intense scenes, and overall has some great ideas. That being said, some story elements aren't used too well, and to the degree that that statement is inaccurate, it's because the novel seems to be setting up a potential sequel, where many loose threads will be closed.
