It's not my favorite King novel. I had to keep switching between a book and an audiobook format. I thought this book was way too long. It contained so many unnecessary pages, and the plot was strange. I was quickly disgusted by a lot of the scenes. It was terrible. I can understand why even King himself doesn't like this book. If you want to read it because you're an avid King fan, I suggest skipping this novel. If you want to read this book just to read it, I would still forget it. I rated it two stars because I love King's novels and applaud his vivid imagination.

Dreamcatcher isn’t kings worst but it’s not his best either. If it was another authors worse I might have liked it better.
There are good elements but those elements are present in other books of his just better.
If you like kings more sci-fi leaning works you’ll probably enjoy this one better then I did.

I managed to read the 617 pages all within a week. I somehow couldn't stop reading once I started. The way the book was written grabbed my attention the most, I can't explain how. And the story was good as well.
