I liked the alien character, but it is like he is just TRYING too hard to be surreal anymore, and it is distracting.
My favorite Stephen King novel.... Not his usual writing style, but amazing nevertheless.
This was an interesting read. I know Stephen King has written some crazy weird books, but this one might have to be one of the top for weirdness... I enjoyed some parts of the book when it wasn't talking about aliens coming out certain holes...

It's like if Tommyknockers, It, and The Stand had a book baby. Rehashed plots/themes with a side of juvenile humor. However, if you read it as a metaphor for King's recuperation after his accident, it actually makes a lot of sense.
