So sweet! You really feel the friends part of the friends to lovers trope here. It wraps up pretty quick but that's ok since it's a novella. All in all a really fun read.

Friends to lovers - esp. if the characters have been friends for a long time (and at least one has pined for that long) - really have to give me a good reason for why their relationship hasn't happened yet. Or at least sell me on the reason they have. This one did, and in a light, playful manner that didn't belie the seriousness of their feelings.

This is my favorite in the series so far. I absolutely loved this. Its so freaking sweet, especially since it's friends to lovers but there's an added layer of Theo having dated their third friend Freddie and it going poorly. That makes so an interesting premise for Theo's fear of being selfish and for Camden's fears of ruining their friendship.
I usually run far away from the "sex mentor" trope but here it's done so well, its the only one I've ever liked. Their dynamic is so fun and the transition to dating is so seamless that I never felt any second hand embarrassment from the teach-me-sex scenes like in other books. Theo and Camden feel real and their hang ups and conflict are incredibly relatable.
The ending was so pleasing, in part bc its longer than the other ones so it felt complete and well rounded. I would love to read a sequel to book alone bc its so good.

This was my first novella by Erin McLellan and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I like both main characters, the pining for your bff was well-written, the sex was steamy, and the HEA was satisfying and believable. I will be excited to pick up another book by this author.

Well this was all kinds of fun. I adore a "teach me" trope and Theo and Camden were the cutest. Theo was a little shy and awkward and Cam was all confidence and sweetness towards him. I loved that they had been best friends since childhood because they had such a deep, fond history between them. Though of course that made them both a little reticent - Camden especially because he'd been pining for Theo for years. The moment they decided to go all in was *chef's kiss* - what a great time I had.
