not bad. fun. had some holes, but not bad. i noticed a number of editing errors. the word “abandoned” was used too much for my liking. a bit repetitive with a predictable ending without a number of things being fleshed out, but that was to be expected.

Learning about Lagos and Nigerian mythology was cool, but the story itself was definitely confusing in a lot of places. There were a lot of characters and it was a little hard to keep track of at times. I wished I liked the MC more than I did.

A really interesting idea wrapped in a pretty hard to follow package. Loved the focus on non-western mythologies and characters, but the writing was inconsistent and frenetic. This may follow from a non-Western approach to storytelling, which admittedly may have gone over my head. But it made finishing somewhat challenging.
